Özet: Hatfields & McCoys ismindeki mini dizi, Amerika’nın Batı Virginia eyaletinde yaşayan Hatfield ve Kentucky eyaletinde yaşayan McCoy ailelerinin mücadelesi üzerine odaklanıyor. 1800'lü yıllardan itibaren aralarında devam eden sürtüşme ve kan davası nedeniyle ülkenin en tanınmış düşman aileleri olarak bilinen iki tarafın arasındaki nefret dolu rekabet her iki taraftan birçok ölüme neden olurken, olaylar neredeyse Batı Virginia ve Kentucky eyaletleri arasında bir iç savaşa kadar tırmandı.


Devil Anse Hatfield ve Randall McCoy aslında Amerikan İç Savaşı döneminde iki arkadaş iken savaş sonrasında eve döndüklerinde aralarındaki ilişki bozulmuştur. Ted Mann (Deadwood) ve Ron Parker (Broken Trail) ikilisinin senaryosunu hazırladığı dizi, ana hikaye olarak bizlere bu mücadeleyi anlatırken bir yandan da Hatfield'in oğlu ile McCoy'ın kızı arasındaki aşk ilişkisi, eyalet başkanlarının çatışması, McCoy'ın oğullarının yaşadıkları, kundaklama olayları ve işlenen cinayetler gibi birçok gelişmeyi gözler önüne serecek.
