Özet: Sene 1991; 11 gündür kışın dondurucu soğuğunda bir türlü bulunamayan çocuk Henry bir anda sapasağlam ortaya çıkar. Bunca zamandır nerede, ne yaptığını kimse bilmemektedir. Kendisi de hatırlamadığını söyler. Sene 2018; olaylar dizisi artık genç Henry Deaver karakteri etrafında dönmektedir. Andre Holland tarafından canlandırılan karakter savunma vekili olup Teksas’ta idama celb edilen mahkumları ölüm cezalarından kurtarmaya çalışıyor. Üvey babasının gizemli ölümünden sonra genç yaşta Castle Rock’ı terk eden Henry’yi kasaba sakinleri hiçbir delil olmamasına rağmen yine de babasının ölümünden sorumlu tutmaktadırlar. Hikayemizin ana konusu elbette Henry’nin yıllar sonra kasabaya geri dönmesiyle başlar; bu dönüşün nedeni de kasabadaki Shawshank Hapishanesi’dir. Hapishanenin terk edilen kuytu köşelerinden birindeki bir hücrede isimsiz genç bir adam bulunur. Bill Skarsgard’ın canlandırdığı bu isimsiz genç sorulan sorulara hiçbir şekilde ne cevap ne de tepki vermektedir. En nihayetinde sadece Henry Deaver’in adını söyler. Böylece Henry bir şekilde kasabaya çağırılır ve olaylar gelişir.
