Özet: Yapımcılığını Gaumont (Lupin) ve Jour Premier'in üstlendiği altı bölümlük dizi, Karl Lagerfeld'in 1970'lerin Paris lüks moda dünyasındaki yükselişini anlatıyor. Dizi, 38 yaşındaki Lagerfeld'in kamuoyu tarafından bilinmeyen bir hazır giyim tasarımcısı olduğu 1972'de başlıyor. Lagerfeld, kendisine meydan okuması ve dünyanın en ünlü Fransız moda tasarımcısı olma hırsına göre hareket etmesi için ona ilham veren ateşli züppe Jacques de Bascher'a (Théodore Pellerin) aşık olur. Pierre Bergé'nin (Alex Lutz) desteğiyle hüküm süren ve daha sonra Chanel, Fendi ve kendi markasının baş tasarımcısı ve kreatif direktörü olan Yves Saint Laurent (Arnaud Valois) ile karşı karşıya gelir. Paris, Monako ve Roma'da geçen dizi aynı zamanda lüks moda dünyasının klan rekabetlerini ve ego savaşlarının yanı sıra destansı partileri ve çöküşü, Lagerfeld'in de Bascher ve arkadaşlarıyla çalkantılı aşk ilişkisini de anlatıyor.
