Özet: Boston Polisi'nde görevli çavuş Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) için 15 Nisan 2013 günü önemli bir gündür. Boston Maratonu'nda sporcuları ve seyircileri koruma görevini üstlenen polislerden bir tanesidir. Yarış herkes için güzel bir atmosferde devam ederken hiç beklenmedik bir patlama meydana gelir.
